It takes knowledge to know that a tomato is a fruit, and wisdom not to put it in a fruit salad
- Miles Kington

Howtool is a SaaS Knowledge Management System developed by Ginger-Gene that enables Knowledge Managers to author Training and Support guides, Publish PSMA (Performance Support Mobile Apps), And Analyse the value of its content.

However, in 2016 when I joined Ginger-Gene the state of the KMS was hardly usable in terms of UCD and as development focused on backend performance the front-end has accrued a design debt.

To be honest, this was an internal issue and it affected not only our users who were overwhelmed with the clutter of our system but also our own team as well who had difficulty knowing where to put new features without a clear Information Architecture.

nice to see you here 😀
